Giving Trailer

A partnership project between the Rotary Club of Otahuhu and the Otahuhu Business Association 

 

The Otahuhu Giving Trailer is an opportunity for those that are in a position to pay it forward to gift to those who are in need in our Otahuhu community. 

The Otahuhu Giving Trailer is located outside the Otahuhu Business Association Office from 28 ^th  November – 3 ^rd  December. People and organisations from our community can come along and gift non-perishable grocery items and new children’s toys to the trailer. 

We then pack food hampers and deliver them to our local primary schools, where staff from the school then identify those families they are aware will struggle to financially make it through the festive season and give them the hampers with discretion. 

Over the past three years we have helped over 400 local families with food hampers and Christmas toys.
