Dictionaries in Schools Project

Every year members of the Rotary Club of Otahuhu head out to our local primary schools to gift illustrated dictionaries to local students.

Students get to personalise their dictionary and then keep it forever, supporting literacy and encouraging lifelong learning.

It is always great to see so many excited students and hear about how they can use their dictionaries.  We also regularly hear from teachers about how important this resource is to their students.

We are so pleased this project is special to our local schools. Huge thanks to the Bill and Lorna Boyd Trust for supporting this important project for our local kids.
